Off Iams
Cat licks the skin, even if not seen a nail file. Is this a salt deficiency?
She'll lick lids hands, arms and feet. Even if you have a shower. My mum has something to remove the dead skin off your feet and it will lick that aswel, including nail files used, so I do not think this is to show affection. Could it fail to salt? I feed her Iams, which is of good quality and is intended to contain much more nutrition than the average cat food though.
Cat's Got 3, we do often (never nail files) but it seems be a sign of affection. Perhaps the nail file feels like your mother?
