I want to take a large dog (German Shepherd size) in the cabin when flying. How can I do?
I've seen the big dogs fly aircraft cabin. I need my dog to fly from Dallas to Munich, and want to know how can I avoid putting my dog in the baggage compartment for the long flight. It is agility dog and is trained and well educated. Is there any way to buy a ticket for my dog?
After being in Germany twice, I can tell you can travel to Germany with your dog and not worry about being quarantined it. However, the appropriate documentation for your dog need to enter the country and all subsequent visits to neighboring countries. I went to Germany to live in Italy. I needed a special role for my two dogs to go with me. Border crossings have been quite easy, however. Stealing is more complicated. I had to finance my two dogs. The general idea is not to sedate them. It appears that dogs feel better manage stress without drugs. I have two Shelties, and they did well. I hope you get everything in order and enjoy Germany.
