Fence Containment

I have an old Jack Russell a year just will not go to the bathroom in her fenced dog run. What can I do?
There is an escape artist, so I put it in this race, he managed to escape all the other methods of containment. He will go to the bathroom bath on his head but it can also escape from him when he is not monitored. I have a young baby, so I can not always walking the dog when he is going to the bathroom but it is regularly covered and do both jobs on one foot. Suggestions?
If it should go, it will eventually. Sounds like you do what you can with a new baby. You may want to invest in a more reliable lead, a lead slip which does not allow him to escape. BTW: I am also a new mom. Slings & Snugli is great. Babies love them and it frees your hands.
