Would drafting Tim Tebow lost their first round pick for the Jaguars?
Jacksonville Mayor wants Tebow to be a Jag, and they plan to sign Tebow just put people in the stands, I still do not see Tebow being as good a QB in the NFL, and Garrard is great with them at this time. They have more needs than the QB and I think I had a loss of their choice. The Jags have more holes on defense than they do anywhere in the offense, Garrard and has shown to be a capable QB in the NFL what do you think?
For one, the mayor of Jacksonville has nothing to do with the Jaguars front office and management decision, and if I had the Jags front office I would not really have a group of Gators fans with hard-ons for Tim Tebow to come see my games next year. You know what sells tickets? Winning games. The sale of tickets for Gators fans eager to see their child in action would not last very long without playing well, or play at all, and his writing on someone who does good prospects would be a terrible decision of football altogether, and injury team and ticket sales in the long term. If David Garrard can not be efficient with the Jaguars of the current offense, I do not see why Tim Tebow could. Jaguars fans should know what is going on with CBS News ridiculously long as Tebow (Byron Leftwich), and Tebow did not have half the arm Leftwich never had, nor the experience in a pro style offense. Yes, it is difficult, athletic and very motivated, but if you can not throw the ball these things mean absolutely nothing in the NFL. I am also not convinced that it is a great "leader" simply because it cries at the top of his lungs to his teammates throughout the game, and at least very skeptical that this kind of "leadership" will result in the NFL. What veteran will take some serious rookie barking orders and motivation of a single line the whole game? If they take it, it will be a huge error.
